Dorothy Bolden
Dorothy Lee Bolden was the founder of the National Domestic Worker's Union of America and worked to fight for women's rights, a living wage, and bringing segregation to an end. Bolden began working as a domestic worker at the age of nine.
W.A. Scott II
William Alexander (W. A.) Scott II (1902–1934) was a pioneering African American journalist and entrepreneur who founded the Atlanta Daily World in 1928, the first successful Black daily newspaper in the U.S.. Based in Atlanta, he revolutionized Southern Black media before his life was cut short by an unsolved murder
Rev. Hosea L. WIlliams
Hosea Lorenzo Williams was an American civil rights leader, activist, ordained minister, businessman, philanthropist, scientist, and politician. He was considered a member of famed civil rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Martin Luther King Jr.'s inner circle.
